Phaenanthoecium adalah genus tumbuhan dalam suku rumput-rumputan.^[1]^[2]^[3] Satu-satunya spesies yang diketahui adalah Phaenanthoecium koestlinii, yang berasal dari Afrika Tropis Timur Laut (Sudan, Etiopia, dan Eritrea) serta Yaman.^[4]^[5]^[6]
