Moerckiaceae adalah famili lumut hati dalam ordo Pallaviciniales. Tumbuhan ini bersifat talus, biasanya terorganisasi sebagai kosta (tulang daun tengah) yang tebal di bagian tengah, dengan sayap jaringan setebal satu sel di setiap sisinya. Semua spesiesnya bersifat dioisi.
