Congcong atau senggutuk (Bridelia) adalah genus tumbuhan dari keluarga Phyllanthaceae yang pertama kali dideskripsikan sebagai genus pada tahun 1806. [3] [4] [5] Penyakit ini tersebar luas di Afrika, Australia, Asia Selatan, dan berbagai pulau di Samudera Hindia dan Pasifik. [6] [7] [8]
Spesies Bridelia digunakan sebagai tanaman pangan oleh larva beberapa spesies Lepidoptera termasuk Endoclita malabaricus.
Genus Bridelia dinamai untuk menghormati Samuel Elisée Bridel-Brideri oleh ahli botani Jerman Carl Ludwig Willdenow. [9]
