The Lobster adalah film komedi hitam^[5] distopia absurdis internasional tahun 2015^[6]^[7] yang disutradarai, ditulis, dan diproduseri Yorgos Lanthimos, diproduseri Ceci Dempsy, Ed Guiney, dan Lee Magiday, dan ditulis oleh Efthimis Filippou. Dalam film ini, orang-orang lajang diberi waktu 45 hari untuk mencari jodoh atau diubah paksa menjadi hewan.^[8] Film ini dibintangi Colin Farrell yang memerankan seorang perjaka yang hendak mencari jodoh supaya bisa tetap hidup sebagai manusia dan Rachel Weisz yang memerankan seorang perempuan yang diincarnya.
