Templat ini digunakan pada sekitar92.000 halaman dan perubahannya kemungkinan memicu perubahan massal pada semua halaman yang menggunakannya. Uji cobalah di subhalaman /bak pasir atau /kasus uji Templat:Cite news, atau subhalaman pengguna Anda. Pertimbangkan untuk mendiskusikan perubahan di halaman pembicaraan sebelum mengimplementasikannya.

Templat ini digunakan di Wikipedia untuk mengutip sumber. Dikhususkan untuk sumber-sumber berita.

Penggunaan

Salin versi yang masih kosong untuk digunakan. Semua nama parameter harus ditulis dalam huruf kecil. Gunakan karakter "|" (pipa) di antara masing-masing parameter. Hapus parameter yang tidak digunakan untuk menghindari kekacauan di jendela penyuntingan. Beberapa contoh di antaranya mungkin termasuk tanggal hari ini. Jika tanggalnya masih belum diperbarui, coba hapus singgahan halaman.

Parameter templat

Templat ini lebih menyukai format parameter dalam satu baris.

Nama belakang penulis berita. Gunakan "author" jika nama penulis hanya satu kata (misal "Sukarno")

Nama depan dan nama tengah penulis. Gunakan "author" jika nama penulis hanya satu kata (misal "Sukarno")

Bahasa yang digunakan dalam berita. Gunakan jika bukan bahasa Indonesia, cukup namanya atau kodenya (misalnya 'en', Inggris', 'Sunda', 'jp', 'Jepang', dll.)

Nomor edisi jika sumber memiliki beberapa edisi. Cukup angkanya ('kedua', 'ketiga').

Kota tempat penerbit

Penerbit dari media berita (biasanya majalah/media cetak), abaikan jika nama media sama dengan penerbit

Tempat terbitnya sumber, lebih spesifik daripada "location".
