Stephanie Ann Hsu (lahir 25 November 1990) adalah seorang aktris asal Amerika Serikat. Dia menerima pujian kritis atas peran gandanya sebagai Joy Wang dan Jobu Tupaki dalam film Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022) dan menerima nominasi Academy Award untuk Aktris Pendukung Terbaik.
Hsu belajar di NYU Tisch School of the Arts dan memulai kariernya di teater eksperimental sebelum membintangi Broadway, berperan sebagai Christine Canigula di Be More Chill (2015–2019) dan Karen the Computer di SpongeBob SquarePants: The Broadway Musical (2016–2017). Di televisi, dia memiliki peran berulang dalam serial Hulu The Path (2016–2018) dan serial Amazon Prime The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2019–2023).
Kehidupan awal
Hsu lahir dari seorang ibu tunggal di Torrance, California.[1] Nenek dari pihak ibu meninggalkan China ke Taiwan dan mengirim ibu Hsu ke Amerika Serikat saat remaja karena alasan pendidikan.[2] Hsu bersekolah di SMA Palos Verdes Peninsula.[3] Dia pindah ke Brooklyn untuk fokus ke teater dan lulus dari Tisch School of the Arts pada tahun 2012.[4]
Kehidupan pribadi
Hsu mengidentifikasi dirinya sebagai anggota komunitas LGBTQ+, lebih khusus lagi sebagai queer.[5][6] Dia menjalin hubungan dengan Britton Smith, penyanyi di band 'Britton and the Sting.'[7]
