Potivirus adalah sebuah genus virus RNA untai positif dalam keluarga Potyviridae. Tumbuhan dijadikan sebagai inang alaminya. Genus tersebut mengambil nama dari virus anggota virus kentang Y. Potivirus tercatat melingkupi tiga puluh persen virus tumbuhan yang kini diketahui. Genus tersebut terdiri dari 190 spesies.[1][2]
