Potamophila adalah genus tumbuhan Australia dalam suku rumput-rumputan (Poaceae).[2]
Satu-satunya spesies yang diketahui adalah Potamophila parviflora.[3][4][5][6] Tumbuhan ini endemik di New South Wales.[7] Nama umumnya termasuk Hastings River reed.[8]
Spesies ini adalah rumput abadi akuatik yang menyerupai alang-alang dan tumbuh hingga ketinggian 1,5 meter. Tumbuhan ini tumbuh di dalam dan di pinggiran sungai.[6]
Ini adalah anggota dari suku padi-padian, Oryzeae.[5] Kerabat terdekatnya adalah spesies padi liar dari genus Zizania.[9]
