Poeppigia adalah genus tumbuhan berbunga dalam keluarga Fabaceae. Genus ini mencakup dua spesies pohon yang berasal dari Amerika tropis, mulai dari Meksiko selatan hingga Bolivia dan Brasil tenggara, termasuk Kuba. Tumbuhan ini tumbuh di hutan, lahan berhutan, sabana, dan semak belukar.[1] Genus ini termasuk dalam subfamili Dialioideae.[2]
