Juncus filiformis, yang dikenal sebagai thread rush, adalah spesies tumbuhan berbunga dalam genus Juncus, dengan distribusi sirkumboreal.[4][5] Tumbuhan ini telah diperkenalkan ke Pulau Georgia Selatan.[4] Tumbuhan ini biasanya ditemukan di lahan basah, di tepi danau dan sungai.[6]
