Heliciopsis adalah genus yang terdiri dari sekitar empat belas spesies pohon, yang merupakan bagian dari keluarga tumbuhan berbunga Proteaceae.[1] Tumbuhan ini tumbuh secara alami di Myanmar, Indochina, Tiongkok, Thailand, Semenanjung Malaysia, Borneo, Sumatra, Jawa (Indonesia), dan Filipina.[2] Nama genus ini berarti mirip dengan genus tumbuhan Helicia.[2] Kerabat terdekatnya adalah Athertonia (Australia) dan Virotia (Kaledonia Baru).[3]
