Episcia adalah genus dari tumbuhan berbunga yang berasal dari Afrika termasuk keluarga Gesneriaceae.[2] Di Indonesia tanaman episcia umum dikenal sebagai tanaman daun beludru, dinamai demikian karena tekstur permukaan daunnnya berserabut halus menyerupai beludru.
