Dookie

Dookie adalah album studio ketiga karya Green Day. Album ini dirilis pada 1 Februari 1994 melalui Reprise Records. Album ini merupakan kolaborasi pertama Green Day dengan Rob Cavallo sekaligus menjadi album major label pertama mereka. Dookie menuai sukses komersial yang mendunia, dengan berhasil menduduki posisi dua di chart Billboard 200 AS dan memasuki chart di tujuh negara. Album ini berhasil membawa Green Day kepada arus popularitas, di tengah klaim dari komunitas punk rock bahwa Green Day melakukan sellout.

Dookie menghasilkan lima singel hits, yaitu "Longview", "Welcome to Paradise", "Basket Case", "When I Come Around", dan singel radio "She". Terhitung pada tahun 2010, Dookie menjadi album Green Day dengan penjualan terbaik setelah tercatat terjual sebanyak 15 juta copy di seluruh dunia.^[1] Dookie memenangkan Grammy Award untuk kategori Best Alternative Music Album pada tahun 1995. Pada tahun 2003, Rolling Stone meletakkan Dookie di posisi 193 di daftar The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
