David Sword Wyman (6 Maret 1929 – 14 Maret 2018)[1][2] adalah profesor sejarah Josiah DuBois di Universitas Massachusetts, Amherst.[3][4]
Kehidupan awal
Wyman lahir di Weymouth, Massachusetts, putra dari Ruth (Sword) dan Hollis Judson Wyman, seorang guru, keturunan Amerika.[5][6] Kakek dan neneknya adalah pendeta Protestan; Wyman sendiri adalah seorang Protestan.[7][8] Dia memperoleh gelar A.B. dalam sejarah dari Universitas Boston dan Ph.D. dalam sejarah dari Universitas Harvard.[6]
