Chaetanthera adalah genus tumbuhan berbunga asal Amerika Selatan dalam famili Asteraceae[3][1] yang berasal dari Argentina, Bolivia, Chili, dan Peru.[4][5]
Deskripsi
Chaetanthera adalah tumbuhan semusim atau menahun, atau perdu kerdil.[6]
Taksonomi
Genus ini diterbitkan oleh Hipólito Ruiz López dan José Antonio Pavón Jiménez pada tahun 1794.[1][7] Lektotipe Chaetanthera ciliata Ruiz & Pav. ditetapkan pada tahun 1971.[1]

Persebaran
Genus ini asli dari Argentina, Bolivia, Chili, dan Peru.[4][5] Pusat persebarannya berada di Chili, yang menjadi rumah bagi 18 spesies endemik.[4]
