Aulonemia patula adalah spesies bambu dalam genus Aulonemia. Spesies ini merupakan tanaman asli Kolombia, Ekuador, dan Peru.[1][2][3]
Spesies ini pertama kali dideskripsikan sebagai Arundinaria patula oleh Robert Knud Friedrich Pilger pada tahun 1898. Pada tahun 1973, Floyd Alonzo McClure menempatkan spesies ini ke dalam genus Aulonemia sebagai A. patula.[1]
