Amber Midthunder (lahir 26 April 1997)[2] adalah seorang aktris asal Amerika Serikat. Dia memiliki peran reguler dalam serial FX, Legion, dan serial The CW, Roswell, New Mexico, dan juga muncul di Longmire, Banshee dan Reservation Dogs.[3][4][5] Pada tahun 2022, ia berperan sebagai Naru di Prey, angsuran kelima dan prekuel pertama dari waralaba Predator.[6]
Kehidupan awal
Ibu Midthunder, Angelique, yang berasal dari Thailand dan keturunan Thailand-Tiongkok,[7] adalah seorang sutradara casting dan pemeran pengganti, dan ayahnya, David adalah seorang aktor keturunan Hunkpapa Lakota, Sisseton Dakota dan Sahiyaiyeskabi Assiniboine;[8][9] Angelique dan David bertemu saat bekerja pada film Jepang tahun 1995 East Meets West.[10]
Midthunder adalah warga negara dari Suku Assiniboine dan Sioux Fort Peck.[11][12][13] Ia lahir di Navajo Nation di Shiprock, New Mexico, dan akhirnya kembali ke sana setelah menghabiskan sebagian besar masa kecilnya di Santa Fe di mana ia bersekolah di Academy for Technology and the Classics dan tempat ibunya bekerja di sebuah perusahaan casting.[10][14]
